Philip Saville, the legendary triple Bafta Award winning director, has worked with some of the finest actors and writers in the world: from Orson Welles to Christian Bale, Harold Pinter to Fay Weldon, Danny Glover to Maggie Smith, Emily Watson to Albert Finney and scores of other talented performers.
Philip's acting masterclasses are now located in Wathen Hall at the Hall Senior School, Hampstead. In this promising new location, your improvisational skills will be tested, stretched, and enhanced through weekly exercises and confidence building sessions. The course will combine technical studies working towards set scenarios, and preparation for interviews and auditions; and with a host of casting directors and producers making appearances throughout the course, the classes may prove invaluable for budding talents in acting. Explaining the art of improvisation: 'Masters of Invention' ->
Sessions will cover:
- The invaluable process of developing your imagination.
- Using improvisation to liberate the actor and get more satisfaction from your performance.
- Understanding flow in character building.
- Learn how to create a dynamic persona and strengthen your personal power more positively and effectively.
The ultimate aim of the course is to make films with group members.
